Income vs Wealth
Income rises but net worth does not. Earning and accumulating wealth are read through different houses and layers.
The pattern
His income rose every year, but new EMIs, lifestyle upgrades and family responsibilities rose with it. Three years later the bank balance looked the same.
Income is not wealth
Income is how much comes in. Wealth is what assets were built, what was retained, and what remains after liabilities.
What to check
- 10th house: profession and karma.
- 11th house: gains.
- 2nd house: accumulated resources.
- D2 hora.
- The 2nd–11th lord relationship, dhana yogas, and the running dasha/bhukti.
Also check where the 2nd's nakshatra lord, sub lord and sign lord sit, and the divisional charts. No single placement decides whether money will stay.
Key rules
- Income ≠ wealth.
- 10th profession, 11th gains, 2nd accumulation.
- Use D2, 2nd–11th links, dhana yogas and dasha together.
