Dhana yogas: how wealth is read in a Parashari birth chart
Parashari astrology reads wealth mainly through the 2nd (accumulated wealth), 11th (gains), 5th (speculation and merit) and 9th (fortune) houses. When the lords of these houses connect through conjunction, mutual aspect or exchange, the combination is commonly called a dhana yoga.
What tends to strengthen or weaken a dhana yoga
- Dignity: exalted or own-sign lords generally deliver more clearly.
- Placement from the ascendant: kendras and trikonas are usually supportive; the 6th, 8th and 12th complicate results.
- Dasha: a yoga tends to give results mainly when its planets run as dasha or antardasha lords.
- The navamsa (D9) confirms or dilutes the D1 promise.
A yoga indicates potential, not a guarantee. Timing and the strength of the whole chart matter.
