Why Planetary Positions Aren't Enough
Planets are a map. Guidance needs karma, dharma and the courage to give a clear direction.
Options are not guidance
Giving only options ('this may happen, you decide') avoids responsibility. Jyotish works when the astrologer also understands the Gita, the law of karma, akarma and vikarma, papa and punya, and the essence of the itihasas and shastras. Reading a map and navigating are different.
An example
Someone asks whether to take a lucrative opportunity in a legal grey area. A generic answer: 10th strong, ☊︎ Rahu dasha, take the risk. His approach: chart, situation, then a direct answer. Shortcuts that harm others may give temporary success under Rahu, but when ♄︎ Saturn's account comes, the damage is larger.
The other side
If your genuine talent is suppressed by politics and you want to move to an ethical platform with some risk, staying and losing self-respect is not your dharma. Astrology is powerful when it tells you what you need to hear.
Key rules
- Planets are a map; navigation needs karma and dharma.
- Rahu's shortcuts are settled by Saturn.
- Guidance must be situation-, planet- and karma-specific.
